VolleyHub respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our website, event-registration tools, and related services.
Information we collect
We may collect account and registration information such as your name, email address, mobile number, team affiliation, event selections, payment status, waiver status, and information you voluntarily provide to event organizers. Payment-card information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored directly by VolleyHub.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and maintain accounts, teams, rosters, and event registrations.
- Process payments and provide confirmations and receipts.
- Deliver team invitations, registration reminders, schedules, and event updates.
- Provide customer support, prevent fraud, secure the service, and comply with applicable law.
- Improve VolleyHub and understand how the service is used.
SMS and mobile information
SMS participation is optional. If you provide express consent, VolleyHub may send transactional messages related to team invitations, registrations, payments, waivers, schedules, and event updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Mobile information and SMS consent records will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with vendors that help us deliver messages, but only as necessary to provide the requested service.
How we share information
We may share information with event organizers, payment processors, communications providers, hosting and security vendors, and professional advisers when necessary to operate VolleyHub. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, VolleyHub, or the public.
Data choices and retention
You may update account information and communication preferences through your account or by contacting us. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Children and minors
A parent or legal guardian may be required to provide information and complete waivers for a minor. VolleyHub does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Security and policy updates
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy, and the effective date above will reflect the latest version.
